The NTSE Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024 is yet to be released. We can consider last year’s notification for eligibility criteria as only a minor change is expected. Detailed information about the eligibility criteria is given below –
Students under 18 years (as of 1st July of that particular year) who are not employed and appearing in the class X board exam for the first time.
If we talk about the Eligibility Criteria for Educational Qualification for NTSE Exam 2024. Students enrolled in class X in any type of recognised institution, such as a Kendriya Vidyalaya, a Navodaya Vidyalaya, a Sainik School, etc., will be eligible to appear in the state-level examination from the State in which the school is located.
However, no domicile restriction will be imposed. The State may set any other eligibility condition for appearing in the screening test, such as any qualifying percentage of marks in the previous annual examination. Students registered under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are also eligible for the scholarship, provided they are below 18 years of age and are appearing in Class X for the very first time.
Only Indian students studying in Indian schools are eligible to compete in the NTSE 2024. The complete NTSE Stage I Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024 is provided below.
For more details, check NTSE Stage I Exam & Syllabus.
