The Council of the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducts yearly Class 6 examinations at ICSE-affiliated schools across the country. Introductory subjects like Science, Social Science, and Mathematics are a part of the ICSE Board Class 6 syllabus. The syllabus is structured in a way that makes it easy for the students to understand the basic concepts related to various subjects.
ICSE Board Class 6 2025 examination is usually held in March. As per the guidelines published by ICSE, each school evaluates the performance and improvement of the students with the help of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE).

Here are some preparation tips to help students prepare for their yearly ICSE Class 6 exams:
Before anything, students need a thorough approach and a study plan to ace the ICSE Class 6 examination.
  • Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses to prepare for the exam accordingly.
  • Practice as many numerical exercises as possible in the chapters that require calculation. For example, mathematics includes problems that require regular practice.

  • National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NLSTSE): The National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NLSTSE) consists of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and other General Awareness questions.
  • Indian National Olympiad (INO): Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Junior Science are all part of the syllabus. This test uses a five-step approach. The first stage (National Standard Examination) is the written examination administered by NSE.
  • GeoGenius: The purpose of this test is to arouse your interest in Geography. Students have to mark different places in India on a blank map in this exam.
  • The National Interactive Maths Olympiad (NIMO) is an exam that assesses mental and mathematical abilities.
