NEET UG Counselling 2023: MCC Unveils NRI Candidate List for Round 1 Counselling

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) recently issued a notification announcing the list of eligible NRI candidates for round 1 of NEET UG Counselling. The list contains a total of 679 candidates who had applied for conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI to participate in the counselling.

As per the official notification, MCC has stated that the “Candidates have been converted provisionally from INDIAN to NRI for the purpose of NEET UG counselling 2023-24 on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent by them to MCC of DGHS.”

The notice further directs all the candidates to get their original documents at the time of reporting in case an NRI seat is allotted to them, failing which their admission is liable to get cancelled.

Earlier on 19th June, the committee had invited emails from candidates who wish to convert their nationality to NRI before before Jun 21, 2023.

How to Check NRI Allotment Status of NEET UG 2023 Counselling Round 1? 

In order to check their status of nationality conversion, the students are required for follow the given steps:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC i.e., www.mcc.nic.in.
• Step 2: Click on the tab: NRI List of Eligible Candidates For UG Round 1 under the News & Events section.
• Step 3: Download the list in PDF format.
• Step 4: Find name or roll number to check whether the nationality has been converted to NRI.
