IIT Kanpur has announced the dates for the JEE Advanced 2025 yesterday (2 Nov 2024) on JEE Advanced official website. As per the latest announcement, the JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on 18 May 2025 (Sunday).
The JEE Advanced 2025 Exam will consist of two papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2), each of which will last three hours.
Paper 1: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM (IST)
Paper 2: 14:30 PM to 17:30 PM (IST)
JEE Advanced exam is the entrance exam for admission to bachelor’s degree programs at various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). There are a total of 23 IITs in the country, offering approximately 50,000 seats across various engineering and integrated courses.
To gain admission to these IITs, candidates must first clear the JEE Main exam and then apply for and successfully pass the JEE Advanced examination.
IIT Kanpur has also provided updates on the eligibility criteria and syllabus for the exam. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has retained the rule limiting the number of attempts to two.
The information brochure is expected to be published soon and will include all the details about the application process, application fees, eligibility criteria, syllabus, and marking scheme.
