JEE Advanced 2024 Result: IIT Madras finally announced the JEE Advanced 2024 Results today (09 June 2024). The exam was conducted by IIT Madras on May 26, 2024, across 7 IIT Zones at different centres.

JEE Advanced is one of the highly competitive exams in India. More than 1.19 lakh students registered for the exam this year, competing for 17,485 seats in various IITs, IISCs, IISERs, IISTs, RGIPT, and IIPE.

How the Result Prepared?

The exam authorities will prepare the JEE Advanced Result 2024 following the below procedure-

• The Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scores in Papers I and II will be added separately. This means the marks obtained by the candidate in both physics papers will be added to calculate the total marks in physics, and the same applies to chemistry and mathematics.
• The authorities will calculate the aggregate marks/ scores of the candidate in JEE Advanced 2024 based on the marks secured by candidates in each subject (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
• The JEE Advanced ranks 2024 are awarded based on the scores. Candidates must appear in both Paper I and Paper II to be considered for inclusion in the CRL( common rank list). This is a crucial requirement for all candidates to keep in mind.

The JoSAA Counselling will start after the JEE Advanced 2024 Result is declared. Students are advised to shortlist the colleges and arrange them according to their preference to complete the counselling process smoothly.
