The IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Indore is located in Simrol, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It was founded in 2009 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and is considered an institute of national importance. The institute is ranked 16 in the Engineering category and 33 in the overall category, according to the NIRF ranking 2024. It is among the 8 new IITs established by the government of India.

IIT Indore offers approximately 40 courses, which include undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD degree programs across 11 different departments. These include B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, and PhD degree programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Space Sciences and Engineering, and Biotechnology. Admission Process:

• Application Process: The first step to getting a seat at the IIT is to register for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.
• JEE Main Exam: The JEE Main consists of two parts: Paper 1 is for engineering, and Paper 2 is for architecture. If a student wants to apply for the Architecture program, appearing in Paper 2 is compulsory. Qualifying for the JEE Main will open the door to the next step for admission.
• JEE Advanced: Qualifying for the JEE Advanced exam is the next step to get into the dream IIT. To be eligible for the JEE Advanced exam, students must obtain good marks and a high rank in the JEE Main exam.
