Last year CBSE has announced that the class 10th & 12th board exams will be held in two terms. The term-I examination has already commenced, while the term-II examination will be held from April to May 2022.

  • As a result of the school closures caused by the pandemic, the CBSE has increased the gap between the two examinations in practically all the subjects for both class 10th & class 12th.
  • Wherever the gap is a little smaller, such examinations have been kept at a later date so that students will have enough time to prepare.
  • Other competitive exams, such as JEE-Main, were also taken into account when preparing the date sheet.
  • To ensure that no two subjects exams of a student fall on the same date, the date sheets were created by avoiding over 35,000 subject combinations.
  • Despite the high temperature, the board has decided to conduct exams from 10:30 PM (IST) keeping in mind that the examination has to be conducted in 26 foreign nations as well.
