AIIMS Raipur is a public medical college and research university situated in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. Established in 2012, it is one of six AIIMS healthcare institutions and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, as part of the PMSSY (Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna).
Situated in the heart of the country, the institution attracts students from all over. The campus is located on GE Road, near the Tatibandh Gurudwara in Raipur and spans an area of 103.63 acres. It includes a hospital, college, and residential complex. According to the NIRF ranking for 2024, the college is ranked 38 in the medical category.
Admission at AIIMS Raipur is purely done through the entrance exams. Below, we are sharing the admission process for MBBS at AIIMS Raipur:
Step 1: Register and appear for the NEET (UG) Exam.
Step 2: Register for the NEET (UG) Counselling.
Step 3: Fill in the choices.
Step 4: Seat allocation via NEET (UG) Counselling.
Step 5: Report at the allocated college.
Step 6: Pay admission fee for seat confirmation.
Besides MBBS, the institute offers full-time MD/MS, MDS, MOH, and PG Diploma at the PG level, DM/MChat at the super-speciality level, and Post Doctorate Certification Course (PDCC) and PhD at the Doctorate level.
AIIMS Raipur also offers para-medical and certificate courses such as BSc, Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP), Advanced Diploma in Radiotherapy (ADRT), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Technician (PTT) at UG Level and MPH at PG level.
