The college is situated in a 143-acre area in the Saket Nagar suburb of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. According to the NIRF 2024 ranking, AIIMS Bhopal ranked 31 in the medical category. In the year 2017, the institute received the “Kayakalp Award” for its excellence in science and medicine. Admissions at AIIMS Bhopal are based on entrance exams such as NEET UG (for UG), INI-CET (for PG), and others.
Admission to AIIMS Bhopal is based on entrance exams. The institute offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including MBBS, B.Sc. Hons, MD, MS, M.Ch., PhD programs, as well as Paramedical and Nursing programs. It also provides a six-month PG certificate program in medical management (PGCCMM) for MBBS students specialising in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosivesives Disaster Management (CBRNE Disaster Management).
A candidate willing to be admitted at AIIMS Bhopal must have a minimum 60% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and NEET UG score for MBBS admission.
