What sets AIIMS Bhubaneswar apart is its location on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The sprawling campus, which encompasses over 100 acres, consists of three parts: a hospital, a medical college, and residential buildings. The hospital complex boasts a 900-bed multi-speciality hospital with 43 departments, including the pre-clinical, para-clinical, speciality, and super-speciality departments. The Academic Area, a learning hub, houses the Academic Block, College of Nursing, and Central Library.
The Academic Blocks, a testament to the academic excellence, comprise four Lecture Halls and Departmental Labs for Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine. Each of the 41 departments has departmental cabins, labs, a library, and conference rooms, creating a conducive learning environment.
