NTA (National Testing Agency) has announced the CUET 2022 registration to begin from 2 April 2022. CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is the national-level entrance exam that provides a single-window opportunity to students seeking admission to various undergraduate programs of the 45 central universities across the country. Know the complete information about CUET 2022 registration, the application process, exam pattern, eligibility criteria, etc. in this post.
NTA in its latest official notification has announced that the CUET 2022 registration will begin from 2 April 2022 to 30 April 2022. Candidates seeking admission in various undergraduate programs of the Central Universities (CUs) for the academic session 2022-2023 are required to apply and qualify the CUET 2022 exam. The admission process is based on the respective university’s discretion.
Candidates are required to fill out the online application form within the timeline on the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.

Candidates who have qualified class 12th from a recognized board (Central or State board) are eligible to appear for CUET 2022.
Candidates should check the required eligibility of the selected University/ Universities before choosing the option from the UG Programs offered. The course details and the eligibility criteria for the program are mentioned on the respective Central Universities’ official websites.
Aspirants who wish to take the exam should consult the Information Bulletin for Admission to Undergraduate Programs of the Central Universities (CUs) of their choice on their respective web portals.
If any university allows students from prior years of class XII to enroll in the present session, they will also be eligible to take the CUET 2022 exam.
The CUET 2022 exam will be an objective-type test with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam is decided to be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
CUET 2022 will consist of the following 4 Sections:
Medium: Candidates can choose from 13 different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi,
Odia, Bengali, Assamese, English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.

As per NTA, a candidate can take up to nine papers in two distinct combinations.
For the first combination, A candidate can choose up to two language papers from Sections IA and IB, six domain subjects, and a general test.
For the second combination, A candidate can select up to three languages, five domain subjects, and a general test.
The maximum number of papers that can be taken in both circumstances is nine.
As per NTA’s official announcement, all questions will be based on the Class XII curriculum only. Therefore for Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and Biology use NCERT books of grades 11th and 12th. Students who have studied the Class XII Board syllabus thoroughly will perform well in the CUET 2022 examination.
There is no set curriculum for the common subjects, which includes mental ability, logical thinking, arithmetic reasoning, and general knowledge. Learn the fundamental ideas for the common subjects from the syllabus of classes 9 and 10 and keep your General Knowledge up to date.
Although the CUET 2022 exam date has not been announced till now, the exam is expected to be held in May-June 2022. Therefore students are advised to prepare the common chapters of CUET and board exams well to excel in both. Also, practice as many sample papers / mock test papers as you can to strengthen your preparation.
