This window allows candidates to modify any errors or update information in their application forms before the exam. It’s a chance to rectify any inadvertent errors and ensure that your application is complete and accurate.

How to make Corrections to your JEE Main 2024?
- Access the Official Website: Visit the official NTA JEE Main website (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/).
- Login: Use your registration number and password to log into your JEE Main account.
- Review and Edit: Once logged in, you will find an option to edit your application form. Carefully review all the information provided, including personal details, academic qualifications, and examination preferences.
- Make Necessary Changes: If you identify any errors or discrepancies, make the necessary changes. Ensure that the revised information is accurate and matches your official documents.
- Document Uploads: In some cases, you might need to update documents, such as photographs or signatures, during the correction process. Follow the guidelines provided for document uploads.
- Preview and Submit: After making the corrections, preview your application to double-check for any remaining errors. Once you are satisfied, submit the corrected application.
- Print Confirmation Page: After submitting the corrections, don’t forget to print the confirmation page for your records.
What Can You Correct?
During the correction window, you can make changes to various aspects of your JEE Main application. We are sharing the details below:
Existing candidates:
Candidates already registered and applied for both Session 1 and Session 2.
- Course (Paper)
- Medium of Question Paper
- State Code of Eligibility
- Examination Cities as per the available options.
- Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12).
- Category
- Fee Payment (if applicable)
Note: Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
For new candidates who applied for Session 2 only:
Candidates shall NOT be allowed to change:
- Mobile Number
- E-Mail Address
- Address (Permanent and Present)
- Emergency Contact details
- Photograph of candidate
Candidate shall be allowed to change any one of the fields:
- Candidate Name
- Father Name or Mother Name
Candidates shall be allowed to change/add all the following fields:
- Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12).
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category / PwD
- Signatur
Candidates shall be allowed to change the following based on their Permanent and Present addresses:
- Examination City Selection
- Medium of the examination
Important Points to Keep in Mind for JEE Main 2024:
