National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is a pre-medical entrance examination for the medical aspirants working towards securing admission at public or private educational institutions in India. Every year, over 8 lakh students compete for 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats.

Each segment (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) is further broken down into two sections. There will be 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in total on the NEET 2022, albeit you can skip 5 from each section. Refer to the following tables for detailed information.

It is critical for oneself to familiarise with the NEET Syllabus before committing to a study schedule. The NEET test at present has three components, including Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany). The test is based on the NCERT books for the XI and XII standards. These books are recommended for the test because they help create the groundwork for a fundamental understanding of each concept.
